The Baltimore Regional Transportation Board (BRTB) is on the lookout for new volunteers to be part of something special: the Transportation CORE (Community Outreach and Regional Engagement).
What’s the Transportation CORE, you ask? Well, it’s a virtual panel where folks from all around the region come together online to share their thoughts on transportation, planning, and public engagement. Key goals include:
Giving you a voice in how BRTB tackles project planning, prioritizing initiatives, and getting the public involved.
Making sure everyone – from rural, suburban, and urban communities – are included and a diversity of perspectives are included.
Keeping our finger on the pulse of what’s happening in different communities and bringing up new ideas and issues.
We are seeking neighborhood residents and business owners, transportation and equity advocates, non-profit leaders, and representatives of the various interested parties and key stakeholders that are essential to include in the planning process.
