of Pediatric Surgery and surgeon-in-chief at University of Maryland
Children’s Hospital.She treats children with general or urological
surgery needs and has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery and the care of complex urogenital and pelvic anomalies. She is American Board of Surgery-certified in general and pediatric surgery, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a fellow of the Royal Collegeof Surgeons of England. Lumpkins has received the British Association of Paediatric Surgeons’ Gold Medal, been named a “Top Doctor” by Baltimore magazine multiple times, and was recognized as among Maryland Top 100 Women by The Daily Record in 2021.
