What Do Actors Have to do with Medical Training and Education?

Actors are helping medical profession students at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, posing as patients in simulated scenarios. These actors are called Standardized Patients, and several of these actors helped about 400 students from disciplines across the University work collaboratively at the 11th Annual Interprofessional Education (IPE) Day on March 29, 2023.
