UMBPD 50th Anniversary
On July 1, 1975, sworn police officers joined the University of Maryland, Baltimore Police and Public Safety, which is commemorating its 50th anniversary this year by looking back at where it has been and looking forward to the future.Today, UMB Police and Public Safety employs more than 200 police officers, security officers, administrative personnel, and the UMB Office of the Fire Marshal.
