In this video, we'll discuss what the University of Maryland Institute for Health Computing at North Bethesda is and what it means for the future of health care in Maryland.The Institute for Health Computing is a new initiative launched by the a joint venture of the University of Maryland, Baltimore, University of Maryland College Park, and the University of Maryland Medical System that will help physicians to better use artificial intelligence (AI) and other technology to improve the health of Marylanders. This initiative provides access to AI tools and resources that will help physicians to make better decisions about health care.On Feb. 17, 2023, University of Maryland, Baltimore President Bruce Jarrell was joined by Maryland Governor Wes Moore, Lt. Gov. Aruna Miller, and dignitaries from Montgomery County, the University of Maryland Medical System, the University of Maryland College Park, and WMATA for a discussion of the implementation of the University of Maryland Institute for Health Computing at North Bethesda.
