Volunteers needed for Grocery Giveaway at UMB Community Engagement Center
Grocery Giveaway is an opportunity for neighbors to receive a free bag of fresh produce or a meal kit and learn about opportunities offered through the Office of Community and Civic Engagement. Health Education services are provided onsite by local doctors and nurses. This event happens monthly, with a few exceptions.
Volunteers are needed to help with set up, sign-in, and distribution of food bags. The time commitment is 2.5 hours from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Please arrive to the CEC at 16 S. Poppleton St. by 9 a.m.
