They will also help keep the garden clean, help setting up the farm and fixing any broken items. The volunteer(s) will also assist in giving out the fruits and vegetables with the community and help out with workshops. Volunteer(s) must be between the ages of 18 to 30 years of age and have some experience using power and hand tools.. There will be training and/or orientation required before volunteering. - May 23–25Volunteer Opportunity - SOWEBO Arts and Music FestivalVolunteers are needed for the SOWEBO Festival. Volunteer activities include community clean up, set up of festival, clean up during and after the festival and a breakdown of the festival. The volunteer hours are as follows: Saturday, May 23rd 10:00am – Noon (Clean up and setup) Sunday, May 24th 10:00am – Noon (Set-up) Noon – 2:00pm (Events operations) 2:00pm – 4:00pm (Events operations) 4:00pm – 6:00pm (Events operations) 7:00pm – CLOSE (Breakdown and clean-up) Monday, May 25th 11:00am – 1:00pm (Clean-up of Market perimeter) You must be at least 18 years of age to participate.
